Retelling Timeline

My Reflection:
I was learning to retell the story. I found retelling the story hard because I had to read the story again so I could get more information. I found it easy to say what happened in the story. I need to work on writing more detail about the characters when I am retelling the story.

My Reflection:
I was learning to summarise a story. I found writing the what happened in the story easy because I know what it was. I want to work on writing longer sentences.

Number Squares

My Reflection:
I was learning to add two numbers together.
I found adding the inside part hard because I was confused what numbers to add together.
I found the outside easier because it was easy to know which numbers to add and they were smaller numbers.
I want to work on adding together the higher numbers.

Reading Around The World Challenge.

My Reflection:
I was learning to research a country that was in the Olympics. I used skimming and scanning to help me. I want to work on using skimming and scanning.  I found hard researching the question to find the answer. I found easy finding out the Prime Minister. I want to work on the facts about the country.

There, their and they're homophones

My Reflection:
I was learning my there their and they're homophones.
Homophones are words that sound the same but mean different things
I found hard trying to remember the meanings for the words. I found easy writing the correct homophones in the right place. I won't to work on writing the correct there and their and they're.

Fractured Fairytale

My Reflection:
I was learning to compare a traditional fairy tale with a fractured fairy tale. I had to compare the characters, the setting and the plot.
I found it harder to write about the fractured fairy tale because I didn't know it as much,
I found it easier to write about the traditional one because I have heard it lots of times.
I want to work on adding more detail when writing about the fractured fairy tale.

Olympic Tagul

My Reflection:
I was learning to extend my Olympic vocabulary by thinking of an Olympic related word for each letter in the alphabet. I found it hard to think of words for these letters G, J, S. I found it easy to think of words for the letters A, O and Z. I need to work on finding the right Olympic words.
