Matariki Acrostic Poem

My Reflection:
I was learning to write an acrostic poem for Matariki,
I found the letter M the easiest.
I found it hard to write a sentence for I because there was two of them. I found it easy to write it for the last I.
I want to work on acrostic poems that have more than one of the same letter.

Basic Fractions

My Reflection:
I was learning about basic fractions.
I found founding the shape for the fractions easy.
I found getting the fraction for one eighth hard.
I want to work on finding the half and understanding harder fractions.

Bike Skills and Rugby Skills

My Reflection: I was learning to compare bike skills and rugby skills when writing. I found it hard to write using paragraphs and to add detail. I found it easy to choose what I wanted to write about. I want to work on making sure I have an introduction before I start writing my paragraphs.

Pepeha Art

My Reflection:
I was learning to create a visual representation of my Pepeha.
I found it hard colouring in the mountain because I didn't fill all the white spaces in.
I found drawing the mountain easy because I no how to draw a mountain.
I want to work on making sure that I fill the white spaces in the next art work and also practicing drawing some Maori patterns.

Boggle

My Reflection: I was learning to find words in the grid to get points. It was easy to find the words, but it was hard to find big words that gave me more points. I was proud that I got 31 but my goal was to get over 40. I want to work on finding words that will get me to this goal.

Metre Activity

My Reflection: I was learning to use a metre ruler. I had never used one before so this was new for me. I found measuring hard because I really don"t know a lot about measurement. I found finding stuff that I could measure easy. I need to work on mesmerising objects properly.
